Nathan Fernandes teaches at several locations across Ontario. His classes are for beginner levels and advanced levels, for children and adults, and they are offered throughout all seasons.

 


City of Pickering

For classes at the City of Pickering, please register with the City of Pickering.

 

Youth Guitar - Level 1 (ages 13 - 17)

Learn the fundamentals such as tuning your guitar, techniques for developing dexterity, basic reading skills, playing simple melodies and chord progressions. You will also gain performance skills by playing in a group and in voluntary solo performances. Please bring your own guitar (acoustic or electric with amp).

Children Guitar - Level 1 (ages 8 - 12)

You will also be introduced to “lifting” (figuring out by ear) simple melodies and chord progressions. Please bring your own guitar (acoustic or electric with amp).

Strike A Chord - Guitar FUNdamentals (ages 8 - 15)

Learn Guitar FUNdamentals such as tuning, finger dexterity, music reading skills, playing melodies, lifting and chord progressions. Participants will learn how to play current popular songs. Please bring your own guitar (acoustic or electric with amp).

Strike A Chord - Guitar Level 2 (ages 8 - 15)

Further develop your guitar skills by reading and performing challenging songs. Discover ‘lifting’ (figuring out by ear) simple melodies and chord progressions. Pre-requisite: Guitar FUNdamentals. Please bring your own guitar (acoustic or electric with amp).
